The Curriculum

Finding quality education is an important consideration when people relocate to a small island with their children. Parents should be assured that their children will receive a high standard of education equivalent to elsewhere.

The British Primary Strategy that we follow encourages us to provide a curriculum to suit our children and the context in which they work. Our goal is to combine excellence in teaching with enjoyment of learning.

It allows us to:

develop the distinctive character of our school, building on existing strengths and working closely with the community;
take ownership of our curriculum;
be creative and innovative in how we teach and in how we run the school;
use tests, targets and tables to help every child develop their potential and measure school performance.
