The School Day
In Years 7-9 the school day begins at 8.10 A.M. All children start the day with their Form Tutors for a short registration period where children can work on class projects or homework.
The Middle School timetable consists of 6 lesson periods per day, where children will move between classes and subjects according to their timetable. Subjects are taught by our specialist teachers but subject matter is connected through our topic based approach to learning.
Snack and lunch times allow children time to eat, drink and play together. Active play is encouranged through a range of facilities such as our soccer pitch, basketball and gaga courts. Many children enjoy skateboarding or riding RipStiks during their breaktimes.
Children also have the choice to spend their breaktimes socialising, either in one of our classrooms or in our dining area, where activities such as table-football and a range of board games are available.
Locker areas are centrally located in our school, to allow children to store books, bags and lunchboxes throughout the day.
The School day ends at 3:20pm with parents meeting their child at the school entrance. A range of after school clubs are available from 3:20pm - 4:15pm.
