The School Day
The school day begins at 8.10 A.M. for Years 1 - 6. A short registration period ensures a settled start to the day with children engaging in a range of learning activities.
Snack and break times allow children time to eat, drink and play. During these times, children are offered a wide range of activities. Children enjoy using the playground structures and equipment; playing soccer, basketball and gaga; dancing on the stage; and creating music using the steel drums and other instruments in the music room.
Children also have the opportunity to participate in quieter activities, such as reading in the school library, dominoes and other games.
During the day, our Primary School students will spend most of their time learning with their class teacher, who will deliver subjects across the curriculum. We have specialist teachers for the teaching of Computing, PE, Spanish and Music.
The School day ends at 3:00pm with parents meeting their child at the classroom door. A range of after school clubs are available from 3:15pm - 4:00pm.
